ROCK OF AGE BE MY GUARD

1. Rock of ages be my guard
Let no evil fall on me
Rock of ages protect me
Make me steadfast in the faith.

Chorus: Early in the morning
Also at the noontide
Latter in the midnight
Make me secure in You Lord.

2. When I go to work by day
Let Your goodness lead the way
When I lay to sleep at night
Let Your angels surround me.

3. In my traveling everywhere
Let Your presence go with me
Wherever I found myself
May Your mark be upon me.

4. Whatever Satan may try
To mislead or to harm me
Always grant him real failure
Make me to overcome him.

5. When I leave this world at last
Count me worthy by Your side
In Your Father’s home above
Give me Lord a resting place.
