JUST AS SATAN TALKED TO EVE, IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
Composed by Z. A. Ogunsanya, 5/9/2019. I just noticed that this song began to ring in my heart as I was going to the bathroom in my room, to get ready for the Thursday our of miracles. Though as at the time this song began in my heart, few minuets to the beginning of the programme (under which I preached on the title “A little space for Satan in your heart?), I was still complaining that God had not told me what to preach, which I had pray for, for days. Joh. 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
1. Just as Satan talked to Eve, in the Garden of Eden
He is still talking today, to all the children men
The same purpose that he had, when he first spoke to the woman
Is his purpose today: to steal, to kill and to destroy
Satan may talk to your heart, whispering something sinful
Or just like he did to Eve, he may come through an agent
Human or not a human, to deliver his bad message
You must reject whatever, he sends to you in anyway.
Chorus: Sa-tan is an enemy of man
Sa-tan is never a friend of man
Whatsoever he may say
And whatsoever he may try to do
Is only for evil: to steal, to kill and to destroy.
2. Satan talked to Jesus Christ, trying to make Him to do
Contrary to what He knew, to be the right thing to do
And thus tried to turn himself, to a controller of Jesus
So as to turn Jesus to, his subject like Adam of old
But in the life of Jesus, Satan was a big failure
For Jesus used the scriptures, to defeat his evil plan
The same scriptures Jesus used, is available to us too
We too can make Satan, unable to make us to fail.
3. Satan talks to every man, both believers and sinners
His objective is the same, to lead men into error
So that he may be able, to achieve his evil purpose
Of stealing and killing, and leading men to hell fire
And therefore my dear brethren, you must resist the devil
By making sure you do not, take to what he may suggest
If he brings a sweet message, or a terrifying message
His purpose remain the same: to steal, to kill and to destroy.
