HYMN – SO MANY PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE BELIEVERS TODAY

SO MANY PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE BELIEVERS TODAY
Composed by Z. A. Ogunsanya Date: 15/4/2017.

  1. So many people who claim to be believers today
Though they carry big Bibles and go to church all the time
Do not truly have anything to do with Jesus Christ
For they are still serving their slave master the devil
Tell me, how can they go with the Lord 1915
When He comes, to take His own away, to heaven?

Chorus: Jesus is coming back, to take His own away
Anyone left behind, what a disaster, disaster
Of a great proportion, it will be for him
Therefore, make sure, you are not left behind.

  1. Many of them are even ministers in their churches
Nevertheless there is nothing evil they cannot do
They lie, fornicate and commit so many other sins
Yet, they are still very bold to be talking in tongues
Surely, they cannot go with the Lord
When He comes, to take His own people, to heaven?
  2. Some of them can sing very melodiously like angels
Nevertheless, they still curse, abuse and even get drunk
Some of them are just like the prostitute in the brothels
And yet they are the worship leaders in their churches
They too, can never go with the Lord
When He comes, to take children of God, to heaven?

  3. A lot of so called pastors are very very wicked
They fornicate with both the old and the young around them
They commit crime very freely in the name of Jesus
And yet they claim power to perform great miracles
Truly, these cannot go with the Lord
When He comes, to take the saints of God, to heaven?

  4. No genuine believer should be surprise because of these
These are parts of what the Lord predicted about last days
What matters is for us to stay very close to the Lord
And not be distracted by the evils of today
We must, prepare to go with the Lord
When He comes, to take the believers, to heaven?
